My therapeutic style, values & philosophy
I value working with people of all ages, races, sexual orientations, physical abilities, cultures, and spiritual affiliations. I believe strongly that all people should be able to be fully themselves and love who they love openly and without prejudice. We are so much stronger, and more beautiful, when we are our unique selves walking together.
The process of looking at life experiences with compassion, curiosity and new perspective gives you the power to shift limiting patterns from the past and painful judgements of the present. This leads to a more passionate life in which you can be more fully engaged in your relationships, career and dreams.
I am a licensed clinical psychotherapist providing wholistic therapy for individual adults and couples. Using an integrated approach, I focus on you as a whole person: body, mind and spirit.
It is important to me that you feel safe, heard, and valued for who you are. Whatever you bring, where ever you are on your journey, I am here to support you. I will listen, laugh and cry with you - I am a real human being.

Practicing
Perfection is a myth and a trap. Living is messy and takes courage. We serve as teacher-guides for one another. I am grateful for my guides, young and old, who encourage play, imagination, rest, connection and wonder.

Building
I love making things and fixing things. Woodworking, baking, and writing keep me grounded. The practical nature of getting something to work gives me great satisfaction.

Dreaming
Big ideas, possibility, change - these inspire me and sometimes terrify me. Without them my life is dull. So, I aspire to dream and grow - always. Whenever I get stuck I go back to nature to watch and listen. She is a wonderful teacher.
